TV 2 Weather

Here it comes: Storm and rain on the way

I've just checked TV 2 Weather, and it's shaping up to be a wet and windy affair. After a spring-like morning with some breaks in the clouds, a proper storm is now moving in over Denmark. A warning has just been issued, forecasting storm-strength gusts before another bout of rain hits us. Time to dig out the rain gear and batten down the hatches.

Look after your holiday home: Hasmark Beach and Binderup Beach in the firing line

North Jutland, in particular, needs to be on alert. I'm thinking of all of you who have booked a Holiday home - Hasmark Beach or a Holiday home - Binderup Beach this week. These coastal areas are exactly where the wind will have the most freedom. Make sure to secure garden furniture, trampolines, and any other loose items – and double-check that the patio door is properly closed. It could be a noisy night out there.

Flight traffic under pressure: Keep an eye on mh96384

Are you one of those flying today? Then keep an especially close watch on your departure. I can see that several routes are already reporting delays, and if you're waiting for, say, mh96384, be prepared for possible delays or cancellations. It's never fun being stuck at the airport while a storm rages outside – but it's better to be prepared than caught off guard.

When the weather plays up: Bingo Banko to the rescue

When rain lashes against the windows and the wind howls around the corners, there's only one thing to do: bring out the cozy activities. Many Danes have already rolled out their blankets and tuned in to Bingo Banko on their screens. It's the perfect excuse to stay indoors with a cup of hot chocolate and maybe a slice of homemade cake. And hey, you might as well win a prize while waiting for the weather to clear up.

Here are a few tips to get you through the storm:

  • Stay updated with TV 2 Weather – they know exactly when the worst will hit.
  • Secure your garden and terrace, especially if you're in a holiday home near Hasmark or Binderup Beach.
  • Check flight status if you're traveling – keep a special eye on mh96384.
  • Bring out the fun games – Bingo Banko is always a hit when the weather turns truly rotten.

We can only hope the storm doesn't last too long, and that we'll soon get some milder spring weather again. Until then: Take care of yourselves and each other out there – and remember, even the wildest storms always come to an end.
