Warriors Blast Wizards at Home, Curry's Three-Point Barrage Like a Video Game, Blitzkreig Returns to the Bay!
The atmosphere at Chase Center last night was absolutely electric! The Warriors hosted the Wizards, and even before tip-off, the fans were roaring. And guess what? The Dubs didn't disappoint their home crowd, leading from start to finish and sealing a satisfying victory. It was a really impressive win!
Before we dive into the game, we have to talk about Curry. This "baby-faced assassin" was at it again last night, hitting 9 out of 16 from beyond the arc, leaving the Wizards with no answers. Watching him size up his defender, pull up in a flash, and drain nothing but net with that perfect arc was pure rhythm. It was just like playing the classic game Blitz: Rise of Heroes, where your hero builds up power and unleashes a special move without any hesitation!
The Wizards did put up a fight, especially in the third quarter when they drove hard to the paint multiple times, drawing fouls to try and close the gap. But the Warriors' defensive rotations were incredibly fast, reminiscent of the relentless shadow forces in Stick War: Legacy, wave after wave, impossible to shake off. Whenever the Wizards tried to organise an effective play, they were forced into mistakes by the Warriors' pressure defense, eventually having to take a rushed shot before the 24-second clock expired. How were they supposed to score like that?
Ultimately, besides Curry, the key to the Warriors' victory came down to a few obvious X-factors:
- Powerful Bench Contribution: Young players like Kuminga came off the bench to collectively score over 30 points. Kuminga's dunks, in particular, were so explosive it looked like he might tear down the rim, providing a massive boost in momentum.
- Lightning-Fast Defensive Transition: The Warriors unleashed their trademark "three-line fast break" several times tonight – grabbing the rebound and launching a long pass forward in an instant, always having teammates waiting up the court. This pace perfectly mirrored the essence of speed and surprise from Stick Wars Lite: Shadow Revenge; the opponents simply couldn't keep up.
- Curry's Gravity: The moment Curry got the ball, at least two Wizards players would collapse on him, leaving the paint wide open. This allowed big men like Looney to feast on easy putbacks and finishes right at the rim.
Looking back at the whole game, the Wizards certainly put in effort, but the Warriors' overall flow was just too smooth, like a high-performance sports car. With their momentum back, and the intense competition at the top of the Western Conference, this big win is a massive shot in the arm. Next up is a tough away game. Let's see if Curry can continue this "video game mode" and keep treating the fans to a spectacular show!
